Dr. Jose Gonzalez is an accomplished and compassionate associate veterinarian with a passion for providing exceptional care for animals. Born and raised in Honduras, Dr. Gonzalez developed a deep appreciation for animals and their well-being from a young age.
After completing his undergrad studies in Animal Science at Oregon State University, Dr. Gonzalez pursued his lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western University of Health Science, where he gained comprehensive knowledge and practical skills to deliver high-quality veterinary care.
Dr. Gonzalez’s experience extends across various areas of veterinary medicine, including preventative care, internal medicine, cardiology, surgery, and emergency medicine.
Driven by a genuine love for animals and a desire to make a positive impact in the community, Dr. Gonzalez is committed to building strong relationships with pet owners. He believes in open communication and takes the time to educate and empower pet owners on proper animal care, preventive measures, and treatment options.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Dr. Gonzalez enjoys spending time outdoors and taking his three dogs for walks. He is fluent in both English and Spanish, which allows him to effectively communicate with a diverse range of clients and provide veterinary care to a broader community.
Dr. Gonzalez remains deeply connected to his roots in Honduras. Recognizing the need for accessible veterinary care in underserved communities and the plight of stray animals. Dr. Gonzalez has actively participated in spay and neuter campaigns, providing essential surgical procedures to both less fortunate pet owners and stray animals in Honduras. He hopes to make a positive impact on the overpopulation problem and improve the overall welfare of animals in his home country.
