Dr. Ashley Birakos is a DVM at Country Animal Clinic and a proud UC Davis alumna, where she completed both her undergraduate studies and veterinary degree, graduating in 2022. With eight years of experience in the veterinary field, she is committed to clear communication, compassionate care, and creating a welcoming environment for both clients and their pets. Outside of work, Dr. Birakos enjoys camping, attending concerts, and spending time with her two beloved cats.

Dr. Ashley Birakos

Veterinarian

Dr. Clark completed her undergraduate studies at Duke University before earning her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 2002.

Dr. Teri Clark

Dr. Jose Gonzalez is an Associate Veterinarian at Country Animal Clinic, dedicated to delivering exceptional care to animals and building lasting relationships with pet owners. He holds a degree in Animal Science from Oregon State University and earned his DVM from Western University of Health Sciences. Dr. Gonzalez has special interests in preventative care, cardiology, surgery, and emergency medicine. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he is also passionate about global animal welfare and regularly participates in spay and neuter campaigns in Honduras.

Dr. Jose Gonzalez

Dr. Locke earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana University and her DVM from The Ohio State University. She has been a valued member of the Country Animal Clinic team since 2010, bringing years of expertise and dedication to her practice.

Dr. Marcy Locke

Dr. Metzger earned his degree in Biological Sciences from UC Davis and his Veterinary Degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997.

Dr. Gene Metzger

Nicole Biscaichipy is a Registered Veterinary Technician and Manager at Country Animal Clinic with 9 years of experience. A graduate of Carrington College, she is passionate about helping animals live long, healthy lives and enjoys the science behind veterinary medicine. Outside of work, Nicole loves spending time with her husband and son, and she has a passion for riding and competing with her cow horse.
